Although I’m keeping busy with quite a few projects at the moment, I haven’t been posting too much on my blog because I’m trying to keep the artwork under wraps for the time being. Here’s a recent commission however which has now arrived with it’s new owner, based on an Irish birthday proverb this is one of a few typographic pieces I’ve been working on recently.
On Wednesday I finished my residency at the Singapore International School with an exhibition of the works made by me and the work done with the students in the weekly workshops.
My idea with the whole residency was to build up to an exhibition, to give the students an idea of how you go about working as a professional artist and the things you have to go through before exposing your work.
The students did a great job and the exhibition turned out really well in mine and others opinions, including the new headmaster of SIS and other staff and parents that joined us for the opening.
